Happy weekend is happy

And what to be happy about?

  • No ontology presentation last Saturday for our Web Science class. I heard from my classmate it would be moved to a later date, but still no news until now.
  •  I passed CS210 (Advanced Algorithms and Data Structures) BUT I’m not happy with my grade so I’m thinking if I should take the final exam tomorrow.
  • I went out on a date with Boiffie and it felt really good. We had dinner, watched Eat Pray Love, then we ate again and had coffee before going home.
  • I had my hands and feet pampered at Beauty & Butter. Hands and Feet Massage/Spa with mani&peds. It’s love.
  • I painted my nails pink and purple.

Window Boxes

Sunday, October 10, 2010

One way of making the exterior of your home look attractive is the use of a window box. Window boxes are now very popular especially for those apartment dwellers on higher floors who for obvious reasons, do not have access to a garden or place to grow plants and flowers. Not only are they decorative and add colors to a home but they can also help unleash the gardener in you. Aside from plants and flowers, window boxes can also be used as miniature kitchen gardens to grow herbs and other supplies for the kitchen.

You can use colorful plants, flowers and ferns for your garden window boxes to jazz up the exterior windows. No more dull windows and you can just enjoy the benefit of mini-gardens growing right underneath your windows. Window boxes are available in different size, finish, style and material. There are vinyl window boxes, wooden window boxes, metal window boxes, and fiber glass window boxes. If you want to be specific, you can choose from among window flower boxes and window plant boxes. For homes that have bigger spaces, they can also add widow boxes planters and plant stands just outside the house for a more eye-catching garden effect.
