O hai there! I know you missed me. I’m sorry the past months have been crazy. And that line was exaggerated.
Honestly, I was just having some block — a blogger’s block or something. Definitely not a writer’s block because I have had them since I graduated. I haven’t written anything substantial after the portfolio I had to finish for my creative writing class during my last semester in UP.
But now I am struggling to make a decent post. And I started it with why I haven’t been writing for some time now. Meh. Decency fail.

Monday Bum Day
While the subtitle says it all, I still want to explain how I bummed all day monday: I woke up late afternoon, ate lunch, downloaded tons of tv series, and then played Plants Vs Zombies until I was able to finish all its levels. I know that was totally a waste of time. But hey, I think I still did something productive — like I wrote an entry at my other blog of the stuff that I would want to accomplish before the two weeks holiday vacay ends. And yes, I haven’t done a single thing from the list of my to-do’s. Bummer.

Tuesday Splurge Day
I started Tuesday with a very yum yum lunch. The mother prepared Sinigang na Hipon and Ginataang Kasag.YUM!! And after lunch I went to PC Express Katipunan because my desktop won’t boot again. Aaron arrived short after. We planned to indulge in cakes at new Banapple the previous day but because we were running late to get our reserved Avatar 3D tickets at Greenbelt3 we decided that we drop by some other time.
But after giving up Banapple, we were still late. Our reserved seats for the 4:45pm screening have been forfeited. And so we bought tickets for 11:10pm instead. That was like a bigtime blessing in disguise. At first I was really upset that we didn’t make it to our reservation but shortly after the 5pm two critical tickets came in. I was the Duty Manager oncall that time and it was really like ‘Phew buti na lang’. I went to CBTL and unfortunately the connection wasn’t stable enough so Boiffie and I walked from Greenbelt to Robinsons Summit. He stayed with me in 34th floor while I was working in the pantry.
By 9PM we went back to Greenbelt and we had a feast at Sentro. We decided to dine there because the stub from the movie tickets says we’re going to have a free Garlicky Adobo. At first I thought the free food would be in sampler size because it’s priced Php300+, and I was surprised they gave us the normal serving . Also, we had Sinigang na Corned Beef and String Beans in coconut cream. It was my first time to try Sinigang na Corned Beef and for me it’s 100% pure win. I’m telling you, you should try this also.
And then we watched Avatar by 11pm. We were so full we didn’t have our usual appetite for popcorn and lemonade during movie times. Boiffie craved for frozen yogurt from Red Mango but we were already inside the cinema and he won’t go out again haha. And have I said that Avatar’s really a genius? Yes it is. Though the plot and the characters are all predictable, the movie didn’t fail us in many ways — the cinematic was kinda psychedelic, predictable elements were still surprising, and it moved most of us to tears.
We went home past 2am. And gawd, it was a tiring day but it was also fun and wonderful. Am glad I spent it with the Boiffie.

Can you tell me how many asterisks I used there? And oh gawd, please don’t go back and count! Hahaha
