The most popular among these being the appetite suppressants which act mostly by tricking your mind (and your stomach) into thinking that it is full. The signal from the brain which triggers the urge to eat is blocked by these appetite suppressants which make the person skip meals. This results in possible weight loss but unfortunately does not necessarily translate to a healthier person.
