What are Fat Burners?

Sunday, November 9, 2008

Fat burners are weight loss supplements which you can buy without prescription because they are not regulated. They normally contain caffeine and/or xanthines which are both stimulants. However there are fat burners that are now stimulant free. The function of fat burners is to burn, block or mobilize fats in our body. There are fat burners that can eliminate fat cells while there are ones that can slow down carbohydrate metabolism thus balancing the levels of your blood sugar. The most popular and increasing in number in the market are the appetite suppressant fat burners.

Being non-regulated is the downside of these fat burners in the market. This issue is favorable to the retailers because they need not clinically prove that the product being advertised is effective as described. With a tough competition in the market, all fat burners are advertised as being the best and Fenphedra is not an exemption. It is quite a popular name in the market today.
