What the hell. I was talking to my sissies yesterday afternoon and we were gossiping about some couple from the blogosphere and I somewhat find it weird. I mean, talking about these two person ( without their knowledge of course ) is really strange. I don’t personally know them in the first place, not even interested about how they dated and all at the least. But yeah, I was giving out advices to my sissy who happened to like the guy, or something like that.
Anyhoo, that’s not the sense of this post. Thing is, philippine blogging ( not the whole of it but a relatively important part of it ) has changed its course from it’s original blogging essence: before, people blog because they want to express, reach out to others, form communities and widen horizons; today, most of them ( if not all ) is still concerned with self-expression and all the stuff above but is more inclined to self-marketing, blog monetization, politics, gossips, and some annoying stuff. I mean, ok who the hell am I to judge and give out unsolicited opinion about stuff like this. ( Parang mali ata to ah, para akong nang-iinvite ng mga taong magagalit saken, LOL )
Ayun. Babalik na ko sa lowprofile blogging. Yung tulad dati, when I started blogging in 2004. 
I will be launching a new blog. Objectives in putting up the said blog is still in-the-making, and yeah the site itself is also in-the-making. But expect that it’ll be more personal, less ads and sponsored posts. There.
I miss blogging. Awww..

second, natumbok mo yung “evolution” ng blogging. lagi kong sinasabi, blogging has become overrated. but still, you are right again… “who the hell are we to judge and give out unsolicited opinion about stuff like this.”

yep.. it’s really a sad thing na a lot of the blogs i read way back have sort of transformed from personal journals to marketing sites. mas nakakaenjoy basahin yung mga blog na alam mong sinulat mula sa puso. it gives you a glimpse of who the person is… mas totoo. mas nakakaengganyo basahin. as opposed to someone who constantly markets himself/herself and wala ng pinost kundi mga “marketing” stuff / events and all.
personally, nalulungkot ako kapag nakikita kong nagshi-shift yung tono ng blogger from personal to commercial. ako kasi, mas sinusubaybayan ko yung mga blog na nagkkwento ng personal experiences, nagbibigay ng sariling insight sa mga bagay bagay at nagsusulat lang ng mga bagay na kung ano ano. naniniwala pa rin ako na mas marami pa rin yung mga ganitong klaseng blogger. hindi lang sila kilala kasi.. well.. hindi naman sila nagsusulat para makilala.
pero yung mga nagsusulat para makilala… major turn off sakin mga ganyan. disappointing kung hindi naman sila dati ganun magsulat.
anyway, i’m looking forward sa mga personal posts mo. you’ve always managed to share interesting points sa mga bagay bagay. nakakatuwa kapag nagshe-share ka ng mga observations mo. i think the new domain will do well.. even better dito sa blog na ‘to. nandito lang ako if you need help with it.
@Louis - thanks Louis! Im really excited to start blogging again.. like before.. when creative juice is always fresh. Also, keep up with your blogging too.
@Aajao - OMG hindi na natuloy yang coffee/lunch natin, haha. anyhoo, walang kinalaman yan sa bloggers da who, hindi ko na nga nababasa yun eh. true, overrated is the term.

Anyway, you can still keep this blog for purposes of monetizing… sayang naman diba. Both my two i.ph blogs are still alive, though they’re not my main blogs anymore… I still update them for sentimental reasons, esp. my very first blog ideasnpink. Of course, I still write some ads on them.
