A long post before Sunday ends

I think I have done so much today. Really. I’ve been so productive and all that.

I woke up late today. I slept two in the morning and woke up past twelve noon. I streched and yawned and slept again for several minutes before I finally jumped out of my bed.  Speaking of my bed, I am developing the habit of neating my bed as soon as I got up. Also, I am adding to the habit the "decluttering" scheme I have adopted; put things to their right place. I have actually maintained a clean, clutter-free room since the major clean up last Wednesday night. Honestly.

Anyhoo, back to the productivity I was saying. I will just list the things I’ve proudly accomplished:

  • Read three short stories assigned for Tuesday in our MP173 class (Malikhaing Pagsulat: Pagsulat ng Prosa *elective*).
  • Listed more than twenty words for my word diary in English 1.
  • Posted one PPP post worth $8.50.
  • Posted one entry to my two other blogs.
  • Created two more blogs: Chocolatina and Frugal Cooking.
  • Did my laundry *good for a week*.
  • And of course, went to church to worship.

Slowly, I am getting back to my old self again. I am regaining what was taken from me: my worth, esteem and confidence. Tomorrow, I will be better than I am today.

Enough of the drama, I will like to share to you this IM conversation I had with my mom earlier this evening:

Cai: wala naman eh

Mama: I know that we’ve always fight, i know that im too hard to understand,but fortunately u tried to understand me..though la nako contribution of ur studies ryt now..u still work hard to finish ur studies..and grad.day is fast approaching..tell u honestly i am very proud of what u r doing ryt now..very proud that ur pursuing ur studies w/out my help..

Mama: on ur grad.day i would like to shout to the whole world that u r my daughter

Cai: waaaaa

Cai: naiiyak ako

Mama: on the first day that u gave me ur valedictorian ryt there and then nakita ko na ang potential mo.sabi ko sa sarili ko wish come true.though God doesnt gave me wealth he gave me YOU.which is more than wealth sabi ko sa sarili ko..sumday ull be up there..in God’s help ..i know ull be..basta palagi kalang magpakumbaba…grad day is ur first step to be there..what ever ur plan is just reach out and pray hard..God will help you…

Mama: ngaun lang ako magsasalita..i know uve been waiting for this words na manggagaling sakin…YES I DO. I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU..I LOVE YOU….INGAT KA PALAGI OKKK…

 Weee. Happy lang diba? Kiber na muna kung may nanloko saken or something. Kung may nanakit or nang-iwan. Andyan naman si mama eh. Happy lang dapat. :p

That’s one proud (and techie should I say) mama you have there!
:) and I’m sure you’ll always do her proud.
The mystical bond between mother and child is an invisible one, but there’s only one word you call out in times of distress.. mama.

You have a very loving mom. Based from what I’ve read, she must be very proud of you. Kaya galingan mo pa at malapit na pala ang grad mo. Habang wala ang mama mo babantayan kita hahaha, joke lang. But I’ll definitely be around to read your updates.

so sweet, me too na teary eyed. Me and my eldest is always arguing of anything…out of nothing haha, pero ganun lang kami ‘though we love each other.
