It is not really cool when you’re allergic to alcohol. You can’t get yourself drunk if you need to. You can’t even have a single sip.
January 7 was my recent alcohol-allergy encounter. I had cocktail and white wine. Yes. Wine.
What I hate about wine is that you have to have a sophisticated taste to be able to appreciate it. You have to have the knowledge about premium vineyards that produces quality wine. NO, I didn’t mean like you have to join some wine of the month club to really appreciate this kind of liqour.
I watched from one of E!'s shows. It's a countdown similar to what they are doing here in QTV. Last time the were having a countdown to the most guiltiest guilty pleasure ever, 101 Guilty Pleasure. The show lasted four hours.
It wasn't really a shock that Starbucks landed 7th. People just loved coffee, and they love sophistication even more. Imagine how much money this Starbucks Corporation is earning with its 15,011 Starbucks coffeehouse chains worldwide (as of November 2007). Makes me want to own one chain myself: invest invest invest and poof $8 per coffee. $$$!!! Lol. Or I could just buy espresso machines and coffee makers and put up a small coffeehouse.
Ok, one more meme. This one is the "I've done stupid things" meme. Grabbed from Ryan's bulletin post in Friendster.
1. Start at 'start copy here'.
2. Put an X on the things you've done.
3. Tag how-many-[X]s people.
4. Post with title "I've done ___*how-many-[X]* of 35 stupid things".
Have fun! ^-^
Louis and I have been talking about enrolling in a gym for ages! You know, seek professional help to improve the body and enjoy facilities like tread mills, elliptical trainers, etc. But we are still out-of-gym-youth.
I have been loosing too much weight. I got dozens of pairs of pants but only the newer ones fit me. Old shirts look baggy on me, too. I know I am too much stressed. And I have been skipping meals lately. ALWAYS skipping meals. And I don't get enough sleep. But no, I am not trying to kill myself or something. I just don't feel like myself recently.
Since when did I post a survey taken from a bulletin post in Friendster? Ages. So now, with all the boredom in the world, I am answering this survey I grabbed from Ruzenne. Woot woOt.. Be bored to read.. :p
Start it the simplest way you can and stay at it as long as you can hold it.
Have I told you my story of suicide? My idea of death? I think I did already. Anyhoo, after what seemed like dozens of slashes, I didn't learn that there are guiding principles behind slashing and cutting, not until this time. I mean, you don't just go take any sharp object and run it deeply against your skin. There are a lot of cutting materials to choose from - you have kitchen knives, safety cutters, box cutters, ergonomic knives (what the hell is this?) and even ball point (believe me, I tried it, Pilot Gtech point 3). And you don't just choose a weapon, you also decide on your grip to produce the result you want.
And you are not confined to only one way of suicide. You can also try hanging yourself, jumping off twin tower or on MRT/LRT, dragging yourself on the highway or railway, and many more. But make sure that your plan is already paid and your funeral dress is ready. And oh by the way, choose your own make up. Funeral parlors can mess you with their corny colors.
I have no decent post at the moment. Can’t think of one. I am saving the decency later for a better story. Ok, just want to tell you about this addiction thingy of Louis. It’s funny eh, but he’s totally into Bux.To. Go to his blogs to find out more. This is a pay-per-click money making scheme. Eeewness. This is the first thing he does when he opens his laptop. Aww. I kept on teasing him how addict he is and that he needs an addiction treatment. Hahaha.
The origin of life or the creation of it is still under debate. Creationism versus Evolution. Materialism versus Idealism. But whatever debate is served hot on the coffee table, it is still but certain that life does really end: expected or (most of the time) unexpected. Whatever the mystery about life and the after death that remains unsolved, we should be still ready for everything that might come our way. And by readiness I mean is having to prepare a mortgage life insurance to save our family from further aches.
*kala mo seryoso noh? haha
It is a nice Sunday afternoon. She just had coffee and dough nuts.
She woke up that morning wrapped only in her old rose blanket. And he was lying there on the other side of the bed.
She took a bath; a steamy one, a relaxing one. Then she went to the kitchen to brew some dried Coffee Arabica. She did it without the knowledge that it is her last.
