I’ve always wanted to perform in front of many people, whether it be singing or dancing. I guess I have already fulfilled my “dream” in the field of singing. But on the dancing part, I am quite sure I haven’t had any moments yet. Or perhaps, there won’t be any. I hope not.
If I will be given a chance to strut my stuff in front of an audience, I would prefer ballroom dancing. Hmm, not actually and exactly ballroom such as Tango or Cha-Cha. Maybe, Latino dancing is a much better term. I have adored several movies that involve dancing, though not specifically Latino dancing. I don’t know if you still remember the movies Step Up and Take the Lead. I admire the main characters of these movies. And by the way, I also love to watch J-Lo do her thing on the stage.
I admit I am not a good dancer. I know some moves but most of the time, I lack the gracefulness and the timing. But I am not giving up my hope, I searched the net for dance tutorials and found out about this very interesting site that houses a collection of videos that teach salsa dancing. It suddenly came up to my mind the idea of learning salsa.
The site offers effective and step by step learning tools through their wide array of DVD’s and other video media. And I am planning to get a copy of salsa video! In just a short period of time, I will be ready to perform a salsa dance number on stage.
