Thoof those stories

I have always been fond of the idea of being a published writer. That’s one of the reason why I have been blogging for years now. I mean, OK, my works my not be printed and sold in bookstores but hey! I got readers here on the web.

I have joined different online communities so I could reach out to more readers. And now, my stories are going to be published on Thoof! Talk about more readers and more improved works.

I just joined thoof a few minutes ago and I already have one published story on their site. Thoof is a collection of interesting reads, stories, websites, videos and almost everything you can share over the web.

It was very easy signing up. And it was easier publishing your stories. They have a very simple yet sophisticated web script-driven graphical user interface. It was like counting one, two, three! Everything you can find in Thoof are written by Thoof users and are all editable by them, yes, for the sake of improving the stories.

What I like with Thoof is their personalized news and stories page for each Thoof reader. I mean, I wouldn’t have to browse through lots of websites and search for ineteresting stories. What I would have to do to read stories that suits my taste is to log in to my Thoog account and poof! Stories that interest me are ready. Yeah, this is one sophisticated algorithm.

Anyway, I also tried their ThoofRank. It’s a ranking system based on the percentage of how interesting your stories are. I put a ThoofRank badge in my first Thoof-published post, Morbid Thoughts #1: The Kick-off Bullet.
