I took an FX* ride on my way home. I sat beside this plump, bald-headed, balloon-tummied man in blue police uniform, the one that a phony policeman in local movies and TV shows wears. I don’t like weight of his right thigh leaning against my left thigh. I was literally kissing the windows, trying my hardest to keep that slight distance possible. He smelled like burnt, dried leaves and old rum.
*morbid thought starts here*
I felt something run from my back to my ribs. I looked around to see where his monstrous right hand is. His bloodshot eyes were looking intently and maliciously on mine. And without any second thoughts, I slammed my fist on his pimply yucky face. I heard the bones of my fingers cracked. The next thing I knew, he was holding his classic .357 magnum revolver. I think I saw the bullet fired from the gun’s mouth. I felt it pass through in between my brows and went out from the back of my head. The guy in front of me, he’s sitting next to the driver’s seat, bathed with my blood and blasted brain.
I thought I heard the old woman screamed, the vehicle brakes screeched. And I thought I saw my life flashing like scenes from movie trailers.
*end of morbid thoughts*
I was looking stupidly at the police guy beside me, trying to make sense of what he was muttering. I don’t know how long I have been "ha?"-ing** him.
"Miss, excuse me. Padaan."
*Tamaraw FX. Taxi-like. Mode of public transportation.

Pareho tayo na maraming morbid thoughts. I-vlog ko kaya. Baka ma-mtrcb ako niyan. Haha.
